We are looking for an experienced Freelance IT/System Engineer for a server backup and disaster recovery project. Project Responsibilities: - Study and understand the existing production server architecture. - Review server configuration, RAID/storage, Ubuntu OS, network settings, and running services. - Configure the Dell PowerEdge R760xs as a backup server. - Set up backup, synchronization, or replication between the production and backup server. - Configure automated backup schedules. - Perform backup verification and restore/recovery testing. - Ensure the backup server is working correctly during failure/recovery scenarios. - Prepare basic technical documentation. - Support the UAT phase and demonstrate the working backup solution.
