• Pay cash or secure methods: Avoid bank transfers to people you have never met.
• Trust your instincts: If something feels wrong, walk away.
• Check the item thoroughly: Test electronics, check vehicle history, inspect property.

For Sellers

• Do not share personal info: Never share your Emirates ID, bank details or home address with buyers.
• Beware of overpayment scams: If a buyer offers to pay more than your asking price, it is likely a scam.
• Meet in public: For safety, meet buyers in public places.
• Verify payment: For cash, count it carefully. For transfers, confirm funds are in your account before handing over the item.
